[RCAC Workshop] Intro to LangChain for LLM Apps

📅 Date: October 24, 2025 ⏰ Time: 1PM-2PM 💻 Location: Virtual 🏫 Instructor: Haniye Kashgarani

Who Should Attend

Researchers, analysts, engineers, and students with basic Python or data science experience who want to start building applications with large language models. This session is ideal for anyone curious about how to move beyond calling an LLM API and begin creating structured, interactive, and scalable LLM-powered applications.

What You’ll Learn

This training gives you an introduction to LangChain, a framework that makes it easier to build applications powered by large language models. You’ll learn about the main building blocks—like prompts, chains, memory, and document loaders—and see how they fit together to create simple apps. The session will also show how to use retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) with vector databases to improve answers with outside information, and give a high-level look at how tools can extend what your LLM can do.
