Daniel joined the Research Computing team in April 2024 as the Program Manager for the newly established RSE Center. In this role, he oversees the development of project management processes, including project intake, rate setting, and business plan strategizing to engage both internal stakeholders at Purdue and potential external clients. Before his current role at Purdue, Daniel served as an Associate Leadership Consultant at Hutcheson Associates, where he led global workshops focused on enhancing leadership agility, strategic planning, and fostering innovation in complex environments. Daniel is a dynamic contributor to holistic business development and optimization. Committed to more than just enhancing operational efficiency, Daniel aims to inspire and establish sustainable, innovative practices that will serve as benchmarks within the research software engineering community.

Outside of work, Daniel loves the outdoors. You might find him upland hunting with his English Setter, traveling to national parks, fishing natural lakes, or exploring hidden treasures while antiquing. He also enjoys staying active by coaching and playing soccer, reading and learning about history and leadership philosophy, and watching movies. Above all, Daniel cherishes the moments spent with his family.
